Keesha Sharp

She can be seen in Tyler Perry's hit film, Why Did I Get Married. Perry, Janet Jackson and the indie film Frozen Peas are all starring together in her. The other films she has appeared in are The 636, for which she won her the title of Best Actress at the 2014. NYLA International Film Festival, Shattered!, Never Die Alone, and American Adobo. Cum Laude's B.F.A. was awarded to Keesha upon her graduation. Keesha began her journey on stage after graduating from Cum Laude Conservatory with a B.F.A. She played in The Broadway National Tour of Carousel as well as debuted Off Broadway with Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind. Also, she performed eight roles in the interactive humorous Eat the Runt. Other theatre performances comprise Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Keesha read alongside playwright August Wilson himself. Keesha is also the director of several seasons of "Lethal Weapon", Are We There Yet?, as well as the shorter films One Day, Lillian, and Half Off. Keesha has several projects that are in development, which include Clean The Brit & Broken Doll.
